The Hope Happens Calendar
Last year some time I was approached by a very enthusiastic lady, who inspired by the movie Calendar Girls asked would I like to join her on a venture to create a 2007 calendar using people in our community to pose nude. (tastefully of course)
This lady was very persuasive as her enthusiasm was catching and I jumped on board.
Lisa Domeny is a very special person, with her huge heart, boundless energy and complete devotion for a good cause is to be commended.
Lisa scouted for donations and sponsors and made billions of phone calls to ask people that would be prepared to disrobe in front of a camera then to be published...it was no small feat!
Lisa managed to engage in the help of our local swim instructor Deb, who asked her class of water aerobic ladies if they would like to be involved...and involved they did, aged between 70 and 20 the ladies bared all for our first shoot.
We were on our way.....
