A bit of a brag

Okay I just have to have a little brag about my all girls soccer team that I coach..we made the 2006 Minor Premiers....yay!

The girls really deserved it..they worked hard and played together as a team and I am proud that I have been able to coach them this year.

We play in the semis this Saturday....should be a great game!

Catching Up

Okay I am new to this blogging business...so I would like to include my trip to Sydney where I worked for Scrapbooking Memories stand along side Rebecca Erikson at the Quilt and Craft Fair at Darling Harbour.

It was very huge as expected and I was overwhelmed with the amount of scrapbookers in comparison to last year.

Id like to say a big thank you to the ladies that came along to my presentations it was a pleasure..and I hope I inspired you in some way.

I spoke on Primary colours and eyelets...which  seem to be met with positive results.

I caught up with Rachel Greig...whom it was the first time we actually met...it was like I had known her for years....a really great lady! , we did lunch with Fiona Carter who came in later to have tea with me as well...it was sooo nice to catch up....Fiona showed me some her beautiful ribbons ...to die for!

It was another great experience ...I even bought a quilt to make...an easy one! Claire was estatic that I was going to have a go as I am not much into sewing...but I have to admit it was so inspriring looking at those awesome quilts!

A bus load of people from Kempsey and South West Rocks came down and it was so nice to see familiar faces in the talks...a bit nervy though...especially when so called friends yell out from the back he he

It is hard to think my little girl is off to high school next year....I look at Larlee and think noooo she is way too young yet but she is now looking me right in the eye, wearing my shoes and a little attitude thrown in for good measure.

New Goodies

I haven't bought anything new in the scrappin line for such a long time as I am trying very hard to use up my excesses...I did buy though today some gorgeous buttons....I have a new found interest in buttons again I have to admit I haven't touched them for ages...

I am starting to plan my scrapping room at last...mmmmm what colours to paint the walls!  and I am definately not going for green as it seems that has been done so many times ....I need to think about that one...I would love to have scrapping room that was in Julys issue of Scrapbooks Etc...it looked divine  but I think I would have trouble creating if my stuff is tooooooo organised.

Hope Happens

I am still cringing everytime I think about the TV incident ..it seems just about everyone watched it and comments are flying and not to mention ribbing me and whatever...bit click onto my Hope Happens site for more information on this great fundraiser I was involved in.

Nervous....I just have been asked to be on television to promote the Hope Happens calender I photographed for the Cancer Council Walk for Life Fundraiser......I am hoping I don't have to answer any questions...should be fun and it is all for a good cause.

Out to Lunch

There is nothing quite like a scrappin block...as I am having one of those times right now.

I have just moved house, therefore my room, which I have to share with our office (unfair) has no working order and it takes me so long just to find anything.

I have two layouts half done ummmm with no inspiration to finish them.
