Mmmmm this has been a little hard to write about as I have had so many mixed emotions about it...if you have read Fiona and Rachels blog you would already be aware of the changes to Scrapbooking Memories Magazine and their decisions to not continue with the creative team contracts for next year.
My initial reactiion to this decision was great disappointemt....but as reality sets in I am looking it as a positive outcome to a fun filled three and 1/2 years working with Australia's most popular Scrapbooking magazine.
I can now follow different avenues and scrapbook without restrictions...or time frames!
My time with SBM was a great experience ....but I really think the most enjoyable thing to come out of it was to be able to inspire others to scrapbook...even if it was only one person I feel it was a huge accomplishment. the other great thing was the wonderful people I have met along the way and the friends that have come out of this experience.....firstly I am so lucky to have worked along side Fiona Carter....we instantly hit it off and I consider Fiona as a wonderful friend, secondly I had a fantastic time in New Zealand working with Rachel Rictor and Claire Stewart, we had the most wicked time! The laughs and dinners were memorable and the opportunity to travel to NZ was unforgettable.....the only thing I regret is that I never got to work along side Rachel Greig, I did met her in person in Sydney and she is one super lady......but I feel through emails that I know her anyway.
I know all the members of the Creative team as was will keep in contact and I thank all those readers that supported me.....thank you.
