- Be in tune with your photographer, prior contact before the wedding means you will feel at ease and this will reflect in your photographs.
- Allow 3/4 hour at home for photos, setting a tight schedule works to your disadvantage.

- When choosing a photographic location make sure it is versatile in the sense it has trees and shade, views or props (benches, verandahs, fences ect.)
- Light is so important to ensure beautiful images, so if you are planning a late afternoon Wedding it is crucial to move quicly after your service to get the most out of your light. This is extremely so with sunsets as they only last a few moments.
- Rain is considered good luck on your wedding day...but it can create havok on your plans so it is a good idea to have some type of back up plan - just in case.
- Allow at least 1 solid hour of photographic time for your formal photos to be taken, this time excludes travelling time.
- When positioning your cake at the reception make sure there is nothing distracting like exit signs and reflective glass in the background.
